【Postponed】Theater Workshop (in English) at WERKRAUM Göttingen

In this acting training workshop focussing on the development and expansion of physical and vocal presence on stage, the facilitator Franziska will employ improvisation games, character development, movement, and physical theater exercises. It is about spatial perception and the relationship to your stage partner. Finally we will try to summarise these aspects in a small scene. The primary goal is to make this theater workshop an enjoyable way to promote teamwork, ignite creativity, and enhance performance skills.

Franziska studied acting at the Bern University of Music and Theatre (Switzerland). She has worked as an actress in many theatres in German-speaking countries. Since 2009 she is part of the core team of boat people project, an independent theatre based in Göttingen, which focuses mainly on migration, flight and postcolonial issues. She offers workshops, acting trainings, leads socio-cultural projects and directs theatre productions.

This theater workshop is organized by Ying Ming Theater and scheduled to be held at WERKRAUM Göttingen. Students can attend for free by presenting their Kulturtickets. Participants are advised to wear modest, comfortable clothing and leisure shoes. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time, which is at 16:00 PM. The session will last for approximately 2 hours, including a short break.
